[As the PCD shakes considerably, muttered curses could be heard stumbled out as the camera passes over pale skin, blood, and the outside of Veles' walls. Lily's sitting on the ground, probably with the device propped on one of the knees as she's leaning back against the wall. She looks pale and feverish, with a few yellowing patches. Before talking there's a few wet chesty coughs, Lily muttering off to the side before back-swiping at air.]

So, guess I should say right away that I'm not infected.

[She just looks like she's going through the beginning stages, as she covers her mouth with a hand that's covered in some dried and some fresh blood, along with other substances. Something keeps catching her attention for less than a second every now and then, making it hard to continue through and finish sentences.]

Don't know who's... Who's available, but I mostly need someone who knows how to deal with poisons, toxins or whatever just as much as injuries. I- no, I'm not interested It's stronger than what I've had to deal with from last time.

[A swipe in the air, muttering again though it could be heard as 'bugger off.']

A little aid would be nice, though.

He shot me, multiple times. Of course my hate's real.

[Starts scratching her scalp, also delaying her response. Even if the feed's private now, she's not the most comfortable admitting that she's sick because of her own poison.]

Between the weird people from your city, and anyone in Veles having one of these devices, saying I'm poisonous seems like an invitation for mad scientists. With all that I've seen, I suppose I have no room to not believe that you can heal and keep some physical distance... It okay to use on mutants, though?

Reaction to my magic may vary a lot from one person to another. It doesn't matter whether you're a mutant or not. But if your body rejects my magic, I'll have to stop and take you to Mrs Unohana.

[A pause.] ...Do you want me to try? Press the yellow button on top of the device you're holding and I'll come.

[She seems to be considering, though distracted at the same time After about a minute, she works on finding the button, actually mouthing the word 'yellow' as if that were the hard part. Which it... kinda was right now.]

You were right before. I don't actually have a choice right now. [x/y] Just- If you show any signs of not feeling well, you get looked at.

[Because right now, Lily doesn't have the brain power to say that her poison spreads out like a fine mist around her as well.]

[It doesn't take long for Raven to get there. Obviously because she was already in Veles when she saw Lily's post, busy killing some zombies. Plus she can fly and that makes all distances a lot shorter.]

[She lands softly, a few feet away from Lily.] Hey. I'm the one you talked to over the PCD.

[She lifts down her hood.] My name's Raven. You?

[Seems a bit distracted at first, though after a few seconds looks up at Raven.]

Ah, yeah... I was right, you are young.

[Nods a bit to the name, getting it stuck in her head for at least a bit.]

Mine's Lily. You showed pretty quickly. Thanks.

[Raven shrugs.] I never denied that part.

[She nods as Lily gives her name.] Well, you looked in a pretty bad shape. [She gives Lily's injuries a closer look.] This laser screwdriver makes some nasty wounds.

[She takes a few steps forward and stops a feet away from Lily, kneeling down in front of her.] Shall we start? ...First I'm gonna take away the pain and then I'll try to close up the wounds, alright?

It always looks worse than it is, I hear... Either way, he made it as bad as he wanted, while it could've done more than a couple of shots.

[Adjusts a bit so her left leg isn't blocking sight of the injuries. Though not much care is given as some of the pooled up areas of pus and blood are wiped away. As much as it hurts, burns sort of even, it's nowhere near the pain threshold that's been developed.]

Don't worry about the pain. Most of it is from the poison reacting to my flesh I think, so that should fade once things close up. But yeah, I'm ready.

[And as a note ahead of time, while most of it will close up, the sub-dermis will barely heal at the deepest level before starting to reject the magic. A collision with the cells and the toxins being produced would essentially have them be killed as quickly as they heal with Lily as potent as she is.]

[Raven quirks a quizzical eyebrow.] You don't want me to take away the pain first? [That's unusual, and a bit unsettling for Raven since it's usually the first step of her healing routine. But she won't push if Lily really doesn't want it.]

Alright. Close your eyes and try to clear your mind from all thoughts. [She lifts up her hand, palm raised at Lily and a soft white-bluish glow appears under it.] Tell me when.

[Raven's healing ability is based on speeding up the injured person's own healing process. However it can feel a little bit intrusive for the receiver. In case the treated person tries to prevent Raven's magic from taking control, Raven'll sense it and stop immediately.]

More that if it makes it harder, or spends more energy, you don't need to do that. Minimize the cost, or however that's supposed to go.

[Shakes head, closing eyes.] At least clearing my mind won't be hard, blonde jokes aside.

[Lily's always had issues with other people taking control, even with good intentions. Even without getting to the loop of naturally healing and the toxin, she'd probably start trying to stop it. Right around the point when she shakes her head.]

Thanks, that's more than enough Raven. I think I'm going to let it take the slow method. Allow the poison to take on a less intense content. Who knows, maybe I'll get samples to save for the future.

[Which actually gives her an idea...]

[Lily may have felt that Raven's magic had started withdrawing even before she asked her to stop. Because Raven's powers are so strong she could easily take over control of most people if she let her inner demon do as it pleases. But she's so afraid of that happening she's resolute to take zero risk.]

If you say so. I'm glad if I could help a bit. [A small smirk.] After all the one who attacked you was from Adstring so I guess it's only fair.

[Raven pauses. She feels kinda bleary all of a sudden as if there was something in the air she hadn't quite noticed before. She shakes her head to clear her thoughts.] ...Do you want me to take you to the clinic?

Adstring really has some crappy luck, having the Master show up. The Doctor, now that's one Time Lord you'd really like having around. Really gabby, and he'll probably act like a child being stick in a linear time, but a good guy.

[Looks at Raven during the pause, frowning a bit. It's hard for her brain to be connecting everything completely, but she's both worried and guilty about how Raven's being exposed for so long.]

No, that's all right. I'm gonna chill here a little more, maybe contact a friend so they don't think I'm zombie meat and am trying to hide it. I'll be able to get someplace safe before you know it.

[A soft snort at that.] Oh, you know, Lucifer's been with us since February so Mr Saxon can't be much worse. [It helps put things into perspective. At least for Raven it does. No one can be worse than the Devil except maybe her Father, but technically they're the same person, so.] The Doctor? I'll keep that name in mind.

Alright then. [Raven has been told to bring people who were bit to the clinic but since Lily was not, she won't insist.] I'll be in Veles until sunset, so if you change your mind and want me to give you a ride back to Adstring, just send me a message.

[She stands up and before she turns to leave, she adds in a small smile.] And in case we don't see each other again... Take care of yourself, Lily.

[Raven can heal herself fairly quickly, so the effects of the poison she inhaled will disappear within a few minutes.]

Luci- [Cuts herself off, thinking about it. While not sure as to what happened since February Really, all she has to go off of were the stories. Which was worse, anyway?]

Saxon actually ruined the world, completely. It took turning back time in order to fix it, and even then... Even worse, he did it for attention and boredom, I think. He'll do that; be bored, have an idea pop up and some handy toy for it, and destroy the place.

[Nods, managing a bit of a smile.]

Thanks again, Raven. If anything, I'll send a message. [Does one of those two-finger salutes.] Take care and remember to not get bit.

[She makes a mental note to send a message about the Master over Adstring network next week, and of course she'll have to filter it from a certain number of people who'd be way too happy to side with him.]

Yeah. You too. [She does the same salute right back at Lily before she takes off and flies away.]
