[When the feed starts, it's just the audio. Lily's not saying anything into it, and with the pause and some rustling, the PCD was probably bumped in a way to turn on. A few seconds in after the sound of Lily sitting on her bed is heard, there's some humming. It's not a trained voice. It's rough, distracted and has a deeper/warmer tonal range being used, but it does come with range even though it's not being sung. Definitely not the best, not polished, but more from abandoned talent than never having had any.

As it starts to fade around the middle of the song, light smacking can be heard. Then the humming stops completely as Lily is apparently frustrated enough to growl this time around.]

Great... Bloody brilliant. This is exactly what I need.

[The feed switches to video, Lily (with very vibrant, pink-violet eyes) not seeming to give much indication to it recording before. Instead she holds up a needle, as well as a tube and bag meant for intravenous therapy. Why is she holding up an IV kit?]

Hey, anyone actually know how to use these? I've never liked needles, and always had trouble doing it m'self.

Some buildup thing that happens every now and then. Stress keeps me from purging it normally, so the needle ends up being used to avoid... side effects.

[Just a shrug. No biggie, right? Just weird.]

No idea what 'it' is, so don't bother asking that. Never had a name for it, just a way to deal.

[Yeah, that is weird. But Sokka's going to try his best to now say so.] It's probably not something I could help with, right? I'm only half-decent with a sewing needle as it is.

[....Yeesh. But-]

Well, points for having considered it, if you did? There should be some people trained for this.

I'm sure there are. That's for the best, really. [And then a pause.] Is there anything I can do in the meantime?

[There's a bit of a grin hidden under there when she shakes her head a little.]

Not for me, but thanks. As long as I get this done today, everything is pretty routine.

I can't imagine that's convenient, but when are necessary things ever? [He warms a bit, smiling.] I'm Sokka. What's your name?

Y'get used to it, really. Even if it's not normal for other people, the typical feels just like it is.

Nice to meet you, Lily. [It'll be easy to tell you apart from the other Lily, at least!] After being here a while, I'm not sure I'll ever recognize what typical and normal feel like. I get your meaning, though.

[Wait until she uses the red wig and green contacts again.]

It's all about what you're used to, yeah? 'Least that's what I hope it's s'posed to mean.

Yeah, I think it's safe say that. [A pause. Sokka likes small talk, so he's just going to keep on this path until you get a bit sick of him, Lily.] Have you been here a while?

[Let's see how long that takes! Depending on the kind, she does like attention.]

How long... More than a month, I know that much. Less than two?

[He doesn't mind giving it, the poor socially-starved boy.]

It's usually easier if you go by the events. Have you settled all right? Aside from... [Sokka tosses a meaningless gesture at the screen.] --y'know.

In that case, I came when everyone's minds were flipped. Suppose I settled all right. I've survived worse, at least.

[Ugh, he remembers that event well. Too well. Well enough to lose that smile on his face.] I hear that a lot. Is where your from originally particularly violent?

Well, that'd depend on how 'normal' you are, and your ways of surviving. It's just that I lived in a busy city, and some people end up living homeless. Simple as that.

Yeah, seems the bigger the city, the more likely that is. I come from a pretty small village, so we all take care of each other.

Makes sense to me. I was just on the streets for a little while, anyway. After getting some jobs I was able to find a place again with some people I worked with.

Were you by yourself or did you have someone to support?

Myself. No siblings, no kids. I was never really the 'supportive' type in the first place.

Are you alone here, too?

You mean the only one from my world? Yeah. Not like that's a bad thing, though. It's like a clean break.

[A laugh, though there's little humor to it.] Sounds like it might be all right, yeah. So, what did you do back home, then? What was your job?

Primarily? I was something of a dancer. An exotic one.

Oh, neat! What was exotic about it? [Derp.]

[Oh, you've got to be kidding. No careful handling for you, Sokka!]

Well, aside from the lack of clothes and adult content, it uses props. Not just the clothes, but it can use poles that are fixed around the area.
